When Eventgold began on Cape Ann, Massachusetts in 2023, we focused on finding local artists and connecting them with nearby businesses and groups like town councils to host engaging community events. In fact, our first art events were for some of Boston’s North Shore Town Councils on Aging—and they were a blast!
Over time, as the artists we partnered with began to work regularly with local businesses like breweries and art galleries, these connections developed into partnerships. Through these partnerships, artists gained new sources of income (sometimes making more than $100 per hour!) and platforms for their work, while venues benefited from entertainment bringing in more customers on otherwise slow days. Since then, Eventgold has introduced several thousand people to the local artists and businesses in their community.
